I am originally from Atlanta, GA. While growing up, I participated in high school sports such as wrestling, track, and tennis. I was blessed in 1988 with the GA State wrestling championship. After high school, I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology with a minor in psychology from Emory University in 1992. I earned a Masters of Physical Therapy Degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in December 1998. in 2000, I married my wife Rene and moved to WI for my wife to be closer to her family. Since being in Wisconsin, we raised two wonderful children. We have one child in college and another in high school. In order to help injured workers recover from their injuries and return to work, I became a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist thru the Back School of Atlanta in 2001; an Accredited Office Ergonomics Evaluator thru the Ergonomic Center of North Carolina in 2004. I also learned how to administer functional capacity evaluations to match employees to the right job for them. Specialized training in manual techniques at Michigan State University in 2004 equipped me to treat orthopedic spinal injuries effectively. Working with athletes and injury prevention at Advanced PT & Sports Medicine for 5 years prepared me for working with athletes of all ages. I have worked at multiple facilities providing and coordinating physical therapy services for a diverse caseload including clients with joint replacements, strokes, cardiovascular issues, cancer, arthritis, neurological diseases, pulmonary disease, and limb amputations. Age of my clients have ranged from 24 months to 100 years old.
